I got these to go with my lodge logic cast iron pans... They do a good job of insulating the heat... until they catch fire.

If you have a very hot handle this doesn't do a great job and for larger handles--over 101/2" skillet these are teally too small. If cooking on a gri;llor fire then you really need additional protection for your hand. Otherwise are a good deal and work well.

Bought this along with the Lodge 12" skillet for my daughter away at school. She loves them, can also double as a fabric "trivit" for the table as well. Great idea, I should get them myself!

These two handle holders do the job and look good to boot. I leave mine on my Lodge cast iron skillet all the time unless I'm washing it. I never have to worry about the handle. I like that two come in a set.
They are made of heat-resistant fabric and can be washed; they can also be used for other cookware. What more could you ask for in a handle potholder/protector?
Definitely recommended.

I love these mitts/holders. I am not afraid of getting burned because these mits go all the way around the hot pan handle. I like this a lot. This feature also allows for me to grip the pan better. I look forward to buying more! They take up a lot less space than my regular pot holders/oven mitts.
