| Customer Reviews: all clad pot May 27, 2010 Carrie L. Smith (st thomas on) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was glad to get this pot as it is the last one to my set. Unfortunately the company has changed their all stainless line and I don't think its as good of quality. This pot is outstanding!
The best quality, but consider the MC2 line May 7, 2010 smatsushima1 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
As with all of All-Clad's products, this stockpot impresses me with it's quality but because I don't use it as much as I would like, I feel like I wasted some money on a line that I could've gotten at a cheaper price.
I think the external finishes of the Stainless line is more durable than the MC2 line, but I don't think by that much for most people to spot easily. With that, I recommend most people buy the MC2 line because it will cook just as well as comparable Stainless products but a cheaper price.
I would hate to sound cheap, but I think most people would be better off with the MC2 line.
AMAZING product, worth the money! January 22, 2010 Desiree N. Weaver (Anchorage, AK) This pot really cooks things quickly and thoroughly, great for pasta. Keeps food warm for a really long time with the lid on! Would recommend to any and everyone!
high quality stockpot August 23, 2009 bhondatn (Bristol, TN United States) It is a high quality multicooker. The stockpot heats evenly, cleans with normal scrubbing and retained heat well. The size has been perfect as a replacement for a dutch oven. I would recommend the All-Clad assuming it will last a lifetime.I am hoping the high price I paid will be justified long term.
Worth the money. February 12, 2009 B. Weist (Arizona) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is the 2nd piece of All-Clad I own, and it's fantastic. I looked quite awhile for a stainless stock pot that was big enough and had a wide bottom; many merely get taller. The wide, very flat bottom is perfect for browning meats. It cleans beautifully, but you can't be afraid to use a little oil, this isn't non-stick. And it's easy to deglaze the pan for those wonderful browned bits. I never purchase items because of a label, designer's name or fad. After some consumer research, and actually handling other's products, I concluded this was the best value, even considering price. Not to plug Amazon, but I found this pot for less money on their site, plus paid no tax or shipping. Makes those short ribs taste just that much sweeter!
