I have this set and they really are great. They seal exceptionally well and I love it that they are glass, not plastic. They are heavy duty and I find a use for all three, in fact, I am thinking of getting another set.

I ordered these Pyrex containers about 18 months ago and have not stopped using them since. The 4-cup (middle) size is the perfect size for reheating leftovers for lunch. The glass does get pretty hot, but at least it's not leaching toxic chemicals into your food... The 6-cup largest size is great for a salad.
The lids on these round containers fit very snugly, unlike the lids on my 3-piece rectangular set, which hardly get used because of that design flaw ((do not recommend that set)). The lid on the smallest round container was quite difficult to get on at first, but the lid has loosened up a bit and is now fine.
Just bought another identical 3-piece set from Amazon and threw away my other plastic containers (except square size for sandwiches). Highly recommend :)

Amazon never sent it/ I contacted them 4-5 times It eventually was to arrive May 14th. Last week I cancelled the order which was last seen in one of the southern states. I wanted this product. I have an entire set but use these 2 sizes I 'constantly'. Lately I have become disappointed with their free shipping.

I bought these after recieving a list of harmful plastics and reviewing my inventory at home. It makes me feel better to put these in the microwave then the plastic. I recently had surgery and put some meals in the freezer and it was so nice to just take out and place in oven. I bought some higher end plastic and it still got that bubbly caked rim from nuking food and the lids had snap sides that eventually broke offf. So I know these will last and my concious is clear!

I have a different opinion of these containers. They get incredibly hot in the microwave. One of the first things I did with them was to heat up some leftovers and I was very surprised by how hot the bowl gets it the microwave. Glass is a fairly good insulator and I would not expect a large amount of heat transfer during the 2 minutes it spent in the microwave. It was blazing hot, far to hot to touch. As a test I tried heating an empty bowl and sure enough, the bowl itself got hot after just a minute.
These bowls are not all that tough either. Just this morning I discovered a broken bowl that I had used last night. The entire top half had popped off, all the way around. It was just sitting in the sink like that, all by itself. This was it's very first time in use.
However, from a health perspective, it's far superior to plastic so it wins on that point. But functionally, only good, not great.
