| Customer Reviews: way to small August 11, 2010 J. Garbera I orderd this with the pro grill, which is a realy nice unit. unfortunatly they made this item the grill press appear much larger siting beside the pro grill. It's aprox. 7.7 by 4.5 inches, enough to cover ONE hamburger or 4 HALF slices of bacon. I have a pyrox round glass that covers much much better. In my opinion the way they posted this item and not making it's size readily observaable is dishonest, not worth the price.
Exactly what I was expecting August 7, 2010 vcbccc The product was exactly what I was expecting. Quality is good, price is good, functions great. The only thing I would do differently regarding this item, is order a bit larger size (and that's my error nothing to do with the quality of this product). It's a great product.
Good for the Grill July 15, 2010 L. Stern (Gilbert, AZ) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought 2 of these for my husband to use as panini presses on the grill/smoker. They do work well for individual sandwiches. However,be warned that the "stay cool" spiral wire handle does not stay cool! He has to use a pot holder to lift the presses from the sandwiches.
Easy Assembly With The Right Tools May 18, 2010 El Lippo The Trumpet Man (Walpole, MA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
To begin, it's a nice product. Although assembly was required, it's the age old notion "Use the right tool for the right job". Rather than using a regular screwdriver and pliers, I used a ratchet screwdriver and an adjustable lock jaw pliers. Both tools make the task less difficult for those with arthritis or other maladies being that it's easier on the hands when locking the acorn nuts in the pliers jaw, and the ratchet screwdriver making turning the bolts easier on the wrist than using a conventional screwdriver. Following the instructions, I turned it on it's side and the assembly took only a minute. It took longer than a minute just to open the package. 8-)
I has worked great April 19, 2010 F. Lara (L.A. USA) so far we are very happy with this buy. It is practical and easy to clean.
