I purchased the 10 inch open skillet, 6 - quart sauce pot, 12 inch every day pan, and 3 quart chef's pan from the Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless line. I believe that these are about all the pans you really need for a typical kitchen, along with perhaps a smaller pot and a small non-stick pan for eggs.
I have been using these pots and pans for a few months, and I am enjoying using them. Not to mention that you can't beat the price for this kind of quality cookware. I feel that these pans will last for a very long time.

Very versatile pan-was looking for a pan that could go from stove top to oven without the long pan handle and this fit the bill! Was hoping the lid would fit my other Cusinart skillets, but it is 12 inch and I have 10 inch too bad.

This Pan is very useful and has a spacious and wide diameter for stir fry. It is also sturdy, shiny, and has a simple pan design.

A beautiful everyday pan but looks special enough for serving guests! Very versatile and practical! And it's dishwasher safe and oven safe! I needed a large pan to use on top of the stove and in the oven. This one fills both needs. I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend it as a very useful item for anyone's kitchen!

As a college student who is very into cooking, but also very low on cash, this was the perfect pan for me! Not only is it a fantastic pan - really good weight, nice heat conduction and spreading - but it was very inexpensive on Amazon. I thought it was pretty cool that cuisinart includes some recipes for you to try in the pan as well - I've done one of them already and it was extremely tasty. Furthermore, I haven't had ANY problem keeping this pan clean and shiny even after using it for a while! This is truly a great buy if you want (need?) to move beyond the aweful non-stick starter pans that you get at a grocery store and you can't beat the price.
