5 out of 5 stars Love it!   September 5, 2010
Mr. RJ
I love this popcorn popper. I have studied every review on poppers that I could find. Based on those reviews, I selected this popper and it meets all my expectations. I know that some reviews have mentioned the lid being hard to put on, well it is a little difficult the first couple of times. Once you get the hang of replacing the top you are good to go and it isn't difficult. Stainless steel, easy to clean, makes awesome popcorn, what else can I say, Love it!

Stove-Top popper looks great and was received the same week it was ordered! Quick service. This is a September birthday gift so I personally won't be using it. Very pleased with the service.

5 out of 5 stars Works well on ceramic cooktops   August 7, 2010

I had a similar popper for 20 years, made of lightweight aluminum, and loved it - until...

We got a new stove with a ceramic cooktop, and the old popper did not work at all on it. Heat transfer was extremely slow and the popcorn didn't pop fully; by the time it would mostly pop, it was burning.

This new stainless steel popper has a heavy weight, completely FLAT bottom, and while it takes much longer to heat up, it pops like a champ. Cleanup is a breeze also.

Hightly recommended to those with ceramic cooktops.

5 out of 5 stars Great Popper   August 3, 2010

I read all the reviews, and decided to go with this stainless steel popper. I would rather have stainless steel any day over aluminum. (For health reasons as well as durability.)

I haven't had any problems with the lid staying closed, as some have said. This popper produces perfect popcorn and is very easy to wipe out after use. I would highly recommend it!

This is a great popper, easy to use and easy to clean. And the price was very reasonable.
