Ok, so most of the time when I see a 1 star review I figure that the customer either just for some personal reason hates the product, or misunderstood its use and instead of admitting it, they just blame it on the product.
I am giving this 1 star not because it is dysfunctional or a bad product. It gets 1 star because the label that is stuck to the thing was next to impossible to get off. I mean the adhesive was pretty much one with the plastic. I tried a heat gun, hot water, soap and then eventually resorted to using a chemical compound (goof-off) to remove the sticky film. Considering that this is a food container, one should not have to resort to toxic chemicals just to remove the label.
Maybe I am just the lucky one that ended up with the bad label, but I so often see this happen. Companies use the wrong kind of sticker on a plastic product resulting in this extremely poor user experience. When will they learn?

These are exactly what you see at many restaurants and they work perfect. They require handwashing but at least work in the microwave. This is one of the best deals I've found online.

I agree with everyone else - it isn't deep enough to hold an entire batch of homemade tortillas.
If you want it for this purpose, you might want to get 2.
It's nice looking and sturdy, and keeps tortillas very warm. The lid is easy to remove and fits well. It's snug enough to stay on but very easy to get off. Looks nice on the table.

When I got this I was a little surprised to find out that it's plastic. I didn't see how it could possibly work to keep tortilla's warm. But, it does a great job. They're always piping hot when we sit down to eat them.

When I go to a Mexican Restaurant I love getting warm Tortilla's in a container. Well, this is exactly what I get there and what I expected from Amazon. I warm the tortilla's (usually corn) on the stove top and then drop each as I warm them into this warmer, quickly covering each time. Serving is a snap, right to the table with the warmer full of tortilla's. This is a hit around our house.
